SmartHome Game

Let's Play!

The SmartGame provides an alternative way to bring portable gaming to your wrist. SmartGame is not a replacement for any home gaming console, it is instead exploring the possibility to bring along a portable gaming device everywhere within a small footprint.

The wristband integrates an accelerometer and a strip of five NeoPixels LEDs. SmartGame can be played as an individual unit, with multiple players through the SmartHome server or, supported by a desktop application, as a Bluetooth GATT peripheral (GATT is an acronym for Generic Attribute Profile and defines the way that two Bluetooth Low Energy devices transfer data back and forth). As a Bluetooth GATT peripheral, any data collected by the SmartGame device can be read by the desktop application to play the game of your choice from a highly expandable library on any machine with browser support. The desktop application can also send messages dynamically to update or control the wristband peripheral.

The SmartGame provides entertainment for all SmartHome occupants.
